MASTERING MY DESTINY

MASTERING MY DESTINY

Confronting the reality of oneself and one’s life may cause some to shy away from this thought-provoking literature, as it has the power to strike a chord.

As a writer exploring self-discovery, I am delving into topics I have long avoided due to fear.

Being honest with oneself can be challenging for many individuals. It requires them to step out of their comfort zone and confront uncomfortable truths about themselves.

I discovered that creating a list of my defective nature allowed me to become an improved version of myself.

I was destructive towards myself because I was searching for answers to who I was and what my purpose in life was.

I felt lost and aimless, drifting through each day without direction or meaning. It was as if I was merely going through the motions of life rather than truly experiencing it.

I can’t fathom why anyone would live in such a way.

While life may throw many challenges, it can also bring us joy and positivity.

Finding reasons to be thankful becomes difficult without a sense of purpose in life.

Life can become repetitious when you find yourself stuck in the same daily routine, especially if your only focus is on work and you have no other passions or hobbies to break up the monotony.

How many individuals can genuinely claim to find joy in their existence without a sense of purpose guiding them?

Once you uncover your identity and set a clear goal to strive for, everything effortlessly aligns in your favour.

In a standard workday, we allocate 8 hours for sleep and 8 hours for work. This breakdown allows for 2 hours of travel, leaving us with 6 hours of personal time if we live alone but even less time if we have a family.

Not all careers adhere to a traditional 9-5 schedule, with many working extended hours. This can be particularly challenging for those with dependents, as they have even less time to dedicate to themselves.

Embracing a carefree existence gave me that extra time to connect with like-minded individuals who shared my passions and appreciated engaging discussions.

In my free time, I dedicated myself to my creative pursuits, such as art and writing.

This also gave me time to reflect on my life and live in the present.

I removed anything and anyone who did not align with my equilibrium.

When I felt uneasy in the presence of specific individuals, I found it best to avoid spending time with them.

Success is achievable through effort and dedication.

If I continued living without a true sense of self, I would likely have met a tragic end or found myself confined to a mental institution.

For most of my life, I have been consumed by concerns over others’ opinions and perceptions of me.

Today, I have liberated myself from the influence of others’ expectations and judgments.

At last, I can indeed be myself, make decisions based on my standards and values, and surround myself with my chosen tribe.

In everything, there must be a balance.
